The reality TV star has partnered with HSN (Home Shopping Network) and has come up with a brand, “Snooki by Nicole Polizz”, which shall be selling perfumes, slippers, sunglasses and handbags. The handbags are going to be on the HSN beginning this month and will range from to .

Look at some of the designs:

It obviously has the taste and style sensibilities of the starlet. The collection boasts of animal prints, lots of blacks, grey and brown, as well as studded pieces. These are styles normally associated with the TV star’s fashion sense.

The collection will be unveiled in a two hour special on November 10th beginning 8 PM on HSN.

As sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian traveled to Australia to unveil the latest in their handbag line, a lot of insiders in the industry have pointed out the striking similarity of a few of their handbag designs with famous name brands.

When this was launched in the US a few months back, there was also criticism about how the Kardashian sisters knocked off one style, which Botkier immediately noticed. This time it seems, their handbag line has copied several other “inspirations.

Here are some samples:

The one on the right is a Balenciaga knock off, while the actual design is on the left. Photo is from Fashionista.

The Foley + Corinna handbag is given a “new look” with the Kardashian knock off to the right. Photo is from The Gloss.

While this is common in the industry, as other designers also take inspiration from other styles, the Kardashian sisters’ collection, it seems, are blatant doubles of designers brands. These handbags aren’t exactly cheap knock offs as well as the Kardasian sisters’ handbag line sell for ,500 and up.

Do you think this is a smart move for the sisters or is another lawsuit coming soon?

This isn’t just a handbag, it’s a deadly weapon. Or it could be a nice trinket to add to the wardrobe for New Year’s. Whatever the case may be for someone to decide to use this, however, they have to be really careful about handling this handbag.

This bag is designed by Dafne Balatsos and is sold at Rick Owen’s store in Paris, which according to sources, gets easily sold out.

Quite the conversation piece, the inside doesn’t hold enough though and it’s really just an accent piece for when you go out clubbing or at a cocktail party.

Wood is seldom used to create handbags as most bags come in fabric or leather and soft leather. If any handbag were to have any wood in it, it would have to be the accent pieces, but never the whole bag itself.

But this handbag from Supplii is not only unique in its design and idea, but the product itself is a genius. But it doesn’t have a lot going for, in terms of usability or function. Because there’s not a lot you can put in the bag and it’s also quite heavy to carry, I imagine, if this were any bigger.

For concept and execution, however, I think this handbag deserves an acknowledgement.

Every once in a while, I find an oddly-shaped handbag that I think is worth a feature here on the blogs, just because it is simply interesting. I never know how to use bags that are designed so frivolously. But because they look different and whimsical, owning one is probably worth it.

This piece from Bodhi is one of those handbags I could classify as odd. Just take a look at how it’s formed:

With it’s name, it’s safe to say that this was inspired by Asian temples, particularly Japanese Temple. This handbag simply draws attention because of the way it is constructed.

When carried on the shoulders, this is how it looks:

I can’t say much for fuctionality, but this handbag is quite like art. Would you carry one around with you?
